Hey there Fictitious Musers. We’ve been a little lazy lately. So we skipped out on WOW…shame has overcome us. Good news is we are back on track and have several interesting picks this week. Honestly they might make you drool a little. I sure did with pick number three. It’s smoking hot and hits stores this fall.

Under My Hat: Tales From the Cauldron by Jonathan Strahan

Why is Under My Hat a great WOW pick? That’s a no-brainer. Oodles of awesome authors like Neil Gaiman, Holly Black, and Diana Peterfreund, have worked their magic to create tales of witches in this exciting new anthology. My crystal ball says I’ll have a copy this fall. Hooray!!

Confessions of a Murder Suspect by James Patterson
Release date: September 24, 2012
I’m a huge fan of Patterson and love a good murder mystery. I really don’t care much for Paetro’s writing style but I’ll swallow my pride and give this teen detective mystery a shot. It does sounds like a thrilling read.

Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor
Release date: November 6, 2012
I don’t know about you guys and gals but I’m eager to find out what happens next for Karou in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. And if the action contained in book one isn’t enough to get your motor running, then the cover for Days of Blood and Starlight darn sure will. Isn’t is gorgeous? I didn’t think it was possible to top the inventiveness of DofS&B cover but I’m having an OMG moment with this one. The eyes are so mesmerizing. I get the feeling she could pull me into her world if I stare into her eyes too long. And who could miss the flaming red swirls…HOT! I simply can’t wait!

Great WoW picks! I hadn’t even realized that the second book of “Daughter of Smoke & Bones” was coming out. I need to kick into gear and read book one before November!

Seems like amazing books. 
Have not read Daughter of Smoke and Bone yet, but I do own it. Waiting for the sequel to arrive so that I can peek at the ending before starting ;D lol.
