Waiting on Wednesday: Prima Ballerinas and Deadly Demons
“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating. WOW is a great way to share the titles we’re excited to get our grubby little hands on.
I’ve been a little under the blogging weather the past few weeks so I haven’t been as active with WOW. I won’t bore you to death with the details of my blah-blah mood but know that things are brighter and my blogging mojo is back.
I came across a pretty exciting title that I think will rock the reading world in a big way. The cover is absolutely phenomenal. It’s right up there with Anna Dress in Blood; it’s just that darn awesome. As far as the summary, I’m almost speechless. Well, not really. I’ll say this; I really never imagined deadly demons in a ballerina story before so that alone is intriguing enough for me.What do you think?
The release is set for February 12, 2013.
Vanessa Adler isn’t so sure she really belongs at the School of American Ballet. But dance runs in her family. It’s been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. Her grandmother and mother were prima ballerinas, and her older sister Margaret was, too. That is, until Margaret mysteriously disappeared from school three years ago. Vanessa is heir to the family’s gift and the only person who can fulfill her sister’s destiny. She has no choice.
But she never could have guessed how dangerous the school is. The infamous choreographer, Josef, isn’t just ruthless with his pupils, he guards a sinister secret, one in which the school’s dancers—prized for their beauty, grace, and discipline—become pawns in a world of dark, deadly demons.

The cover is too pretty. I love how the pettals flow in the air. I’m not really into books about dancing, but this one sounds much better! Add some demons and darkness and you make a great book out of everything :p
Take a look at my WoW.

I saw this book a couple of weeks ago, and I agree: it sounds amazing. I love ballet, and you don’t see too many YA paranormal books about ballet out there!
Here’s my WOW.
