Sarah J Maas, Andrew Fukuda, Marissa Meyer, & Jessica Therrien

7. Best book that was out of your comfort zone or was a new genre for you?

Metawars: Fight for the Future by Jeff Norton – It was more exciting than I could have ever imagined.

8. Most thrilling, unputdownable book in 2012?

The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers – The World building and characters are FANTASTIC!!

9. Book You Read In 2012 That You Are Most Likely To Re-Read Next Year:

The entire Curse of the Templars series for sure. I can’t get enough of the Templar knights.

Anna from Kendare Blake’s Anna Dressed in Blood & Girl of Nightmares

13. Book that had the greatest impact on you in 2012? 

Belles & Winter White by Jen Calonita 

14. Book you can’t believe you waited UNTIL 2012 to finally read? 

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

15. Favorite Passage/Quote From A Book You Read In 2012? 

It would have to be this memorable passage from The City of Dreaming Books…

There were adventure stories supplied with cloths for mopping your brow, thrillers containing pressed leaves of soothing valerian to be sniffed when the suspense became too great, and books with stout locks sealed by the Atlantean censorship authorities (‘Sale permitted, reading prohibited!’).

16.Shortest & Longest Book You Read In 2012? 

The Shortest would be Finding the Baby Jesus by Kimball Fisher

I didn’t really keep track but I think the longest would have to be Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning

17. Book That Had A Scene In It That Had You Reeling And Dying To Talk To Somebody About It? (a WTF moment, an epic revelation, a steamy kiss, etc. etc.) Be careful of spoilers!

The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice aka A.N. Roquelaure – had to give it a try after reading Fifty Shades of Grey…the M/M action was just WAY too much.

18. Favorite Relationship From A Book You Read In 2012 (be it romantic, friendship, etc).

Farran de Clare & Noelle Keane in Immortal Surrender by Claire Ashgrove.

1. New favorite book blog you discovered in 2012? 

I’m a HUGE book blog addict and I have tons of favs so I can’t pick just one. There’s literally something on each one that grabs my attention.

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2012? 

Adult—The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers

YA—Lullaby by Amanda Hocking & Indigo Awakening by Jordan Dane

MG—The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer & Behind the Bookcase by Mark Steensland

3. Best discussion you had on your blog?

We haven’t really tried discussions on the blog that much. It is something to consider for 2013.

4. Most thought-provoking review or discussion you read on somebody else’s blog?

Book Blogging at it's finest!

 Just about anything on Parajunkee’s View. The Book Blogging 101 posts are informative and her personality really shines in everything she posts. :)

5. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

TLA in Houston. Marty & I met some amazing bloggers, authors, and many other bookish peeps.

6. Best moment of book blogging in 2012?

We held our very first event this year – Keepers of the Crypt. We’re looking forward to doing it again in 2013.

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?
