Teaser Tuesday: Born Wicked

This week I grabbed a copy of Born Wicked and couldn’t help but share a taste of what it has to offer beyond the gorgeous cover. I love witches as much as any paranormal creature, so I’m excited to see how the story plays out. If you’ve read it, I’d love to hear what you thought about it.

Teaser Tuesday: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Due to the upcoming movie release, I’m currently devouring Seth Grahame-Smith’s Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Have you seen the movie trailer? OMG…it’s amazing! From what I can see, they are staying true to the historical aspect and there’s lots of action too. I hope the book is every bit as good as the sneak peek of the movie is. We’ll see. If any of you guys have read the book, I’d love to hear what you thought about it.

This week’s teaser comes from Everneath by Brodi Ashton. Ever since I caught a glimpse of the fabulously awesome cover for this debut I began counting the days until it hit store shelves. It finally arrived at the library so I decided to sneak it home. It was definitely worth sneaking in that early read. LOL. With a gorgeous cover like this who could resist giving it a read?

Teaser:

I worked up to my knees, my legs, my elbows, making small movements against Cole’s body. But where I tried to separate my legs from his, the skin stung. It was as if we had been sewn together, and I was ripping us apart.

Sounds intense right? Ouch! I can’t imagine how freaking painful that must be for Nikki.
