Teaser Tuesday: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

    • Grab your current read
    • Open to a random page
    • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
    • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
    • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser.

Due to the upcoming movie release, I’m currently devouring Seth Grahame-Smith’s Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Have you seen the movie trailer? OMG…it’s amazing! From what I can see, they are staying true to the historical aspect and there’s lots of action too. I hope the book is every bit as good as the sneak peek of the movie is. We’ll see. If any of you guys have read the book, I’d love to hear what you thought about it.

Teaser:

“I do not wish to live without her, Henry.”

“She is too beautiful too…too good…”

“I know.”

Abe could not help his tears.

Check out the awesome trailer for the film and see the 16th president swing some major ax.

New Motion Posters for The Hunger Games feature Caesar Flickerman, Cinna, and Seneca Crane

Cinna for Liquid Skyliner in The Hunger GamesAre you ready for some Hunger Games action? We still have a little bit of a wait for the movie but we do have a few motion posters straight from Panem (okay, HungerGamesTrilogy.net) that feature three of the characters in Capitol-style advertising. Personally, I think Lenny Kravitz’s promo as Cinna for Liquid Skyliner is the best of the bunch, with Stanley Tucci’s Caesar Flickerman trailing at the back of the pack. It doesn’t even look like Tucci and the ‘motion’ part of the motion poster is a bit lame.

The Hunger Games opens March 23rd.

New Trailer for The Hunger Games

Hunger Games World is Watching Poster

Yeah, I know, it’s two posts in a row for The Hunger Games, but this is too totally awesome to not share. The second trailer for the movie has hit the web… and it hits hard.

We see Katniss step up for Primrose, see her realize exactly what she’s signed up for and how serious the stakes are, and we also get to see the iconic Mockingjay pin, which is completely awesome in a major fanboy way. As if that wasn’t enough to make the new trailer stand out among all others, we also get some excellent looks at Stanley Tucci with Caesar Flickerman’s blue hair… and that is just too hilarious for words.

Check out the trailer for The Hunger Games, which hits theaters on March 23, which is entirely too far away if you ask me.
