Review Policy

We enjoy reading and reviewing books, and we love doing our part to help promote the work of both new and established authors.

If you are an author/publisher/publicist, you can email us at jennifer (at) fictitiousmusings (dot) com. Please include a brief description, along with the author and the title of the book. We will respond to all inquiries within two to three business days.

Accepted Genres:

• Urban Fantasy
• Paranormal Romance
• Modern Retellings
• Horror
• YA Fiction
• Historical Fiction.

Time Frame:
We try to read the review titles that we receive in a timely manner but time constraints prevent us from promising a specific review by date. If the book is an ARC, we will try to review the book in the month surrounding its release date, with the review usually being posted a couple of weeks before release.

Promotion:
Interviews, guest blogs, and book giveaways can be scheduled to promote your book. Please email us at jennifer (at) fictitiousmusings (dot) com so we can talk with you about helping to generate some buzz about your book.

Ratings:
We believe opinions are subjective, so do not assign any type of rating or grade in our reviews. Instead, we share our thoughts and feelings on the story, allowing people to form their own conclusions on whether the book is something they do or don’t want to try.
